Patient Centered Care
We offer both outpatient and inpatient diagnostic services for patients with a sleep disturbance, in accordance with the DGSM "S3" guideline. However, we specialized in diagnosing and treating sleep disturbances of psychiatric or neurological origin. We naturally work closely in cooperation with general practitioners or familiy physicians.
Training
We are engaged in a variety of clinical and university courses and trainings and we supervise doctoral and diploma students. Please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email (see "team" for phone numbers or email adresses) if you are interested in conducting a PhD or diploma thesis in our department.
Facilities
Our sleep laboratory uses up-to-date diagnostic equipment and participates in international multi-center clinical trials (phase II-III). Up to five fully-equipped polysomnographic units can be used for diagnostic and research purposes. Apart from the polysomnographic multiple sleep latency test (MSLT), we use pupillometry and different computer-based tests to assess daytime vigilance.
